DEFEATED

On my knees, hurt sad and lonely inside
If this is life, then I would rather die
Another day of being such a failure
I don't know how much I can endure
Nothing goes right, I mess up at every turn
People keep telling me to always stand firm
I can't stand anymore, I'm alone in this universe
Is life truly a gift or is it just a huge curse?
I Ponder these things as I look at myself
It's just me now, there's nobody else
No one to love, no one who loves me
I'm trying not to drown in a sea of misery
Is it even worth it to wake up another day?
I try my best but still screw up in every way
The battle with life with lost and I'm defeated
I give up, with my will to live depleted
What can I do?  Where can I go?
Everything is just a big I don't know
The screaming wounds just won't go away
The cries of despair just won't go away.....

CHILD OF THE STARGAZER II:
RETURN OF THE MORNING STAR

As the endless kingdom war rages on
She appears in the morning sky
Beside the sun at the crack of dawn
She is coming to save us all
Our cries echoed through the universe
The saver of worlds has heard our call
Our world would see a new rebirth
The stargazer has come to save again!
Our world will not come to an end! The morning star shines bright once more
To end the pain and death of war!

She has heard the pain and tears
Of a nation slowly dying from hate
Her Moon Sword blazes in her hand
Those who oppose her will seal their fate
As she comes to heal our land
The fighting stops as they see her glory
Her beauty gives the sky a golden glow
She's real, not another fable or story
She's saved more worlds than they'll ever know
The relief will come for those in pain
Those sick of war and crying endless tears
Beyond galaxies she comes and no one knows her name
But she still comes to silence their fears
She shines like a star in the sky alongside the sun
All kings and queens must drop to one knee
As she comes to unite them all as one
And the glory of her light is all they see.

ALONE ON VALENTINE'S DAY

Love is in the air, but not for me
Endless sadness is all I see
No one to love or give roses to
I wish it was a lie but sadly it's true
There will be no kisses, not even a hug
Nothing for me as I look down at my rug
Too sad to raise my head, I can only hang it down
A prince of an empty kingdom who lost his crown
I wrap myself around a book to ease the pain
Not something physical so it's hard to explain
The day finally ends and I'm still all alone
Sadness and tears rule in this lonely throne.

THE LAND OF THREE SUNS

We sail off in the sea, to a new horizon
Going off to a land never heard before
I almost burst with excitement and my grip tightens
Thinking of what I learned in the books of lore
We have The Queen's blessing as we set the course
To the land of legend, the land of three suns
We set sail, off to the lands up north
As we wave goodbye to all our loved ones
Across the black seas, past the island of dragons
Past the endless storm Goratha and beyond
A land that none of us could possibly imagine
As we head out, we see the sun's in the sky
One red, another yellow and the last one blue
The stories and legends told make us wonder why
These things came to be and are these stories true
Were off to this ancient land, not know what we'll find
Adventure for all of us on board lies ahead
Who knows what things unknown we'll see?
Untold possibilities start to fill up my head
Of what's out there beyond the known seas....

LOVABLE LOSER

He's a nice guy who never wins
Cheer up people say with a well meaning grin
Sadness runs with him where ever he goes
He pretends to be happy so nobody knows
Every one is his friend or so it seems
But he only wants to be with the woman of his dreams
She says he's a nice guy but that's just about it
He's heard it many times but he will not quit
Different woman but he hears the same phrase
Will he always hear that until the end of his days?
He keeps trying but he'll always lose
But I guess that's life so what are you going to do?

DREAMS OF BASEBALL?

DREAMS OF BASEBALL?

Sitting, watching a game and having fun
Enjoying baseball in the summer sun
Then a woman next to me grabs my hand
To see if I'm married, I don't quite understand
"Hey you're not married so hello there!"
She was older but had beautiful blonde hair
Here comes my nephew, what did he do now?
He got thrown out of the game, but I wonder how?
What an idiot he threw something on the field
I had to look at him and say: "Are you for real?!"
The game goes on and the skies grow dark
But soon the game ends, now it's time to leave the park
Everyone gets in a car as it starts to rain
But I started to run and it's hard to explain
I ran so fast, as fast as the wind
I kept passing cars as the rain blended in
But then I woke up and realized it was a dream
I still keep wondering what this all means.

YOU DIDN'T LEAVE

The hood is off and you didn't leave the place
You came closer to me and touched my face
You didn't run away from a monster like me
I'm still wondering how this could even be
I'm hideous, I still don't know what you see
Can't you see that I'm just plain ugly?
You looked me in the eyes and didn't turn away
Now I'm just speechless, I don't know what to say
Before I could say anything, you gave me a kiss
There's nothing in the world that's sweeter than this
I never thought this would happen, it's so hard to belive
You saw me for what I was and still you didn't leave.
