WHY?
Things are going fine
And then comes madness
It happens one more time
And now I'm filled with sadness
I was stupid to believe
Someone would actually care
I was a fool, I was being deceived
You were never there
Another rejection, this is my life
A lonely soul who will always be alone
This is what I get for being so nice
Finishing last with no one as I go home
Why should I believe in love?
Does it even exist?
I ask this to the stars above
Can anyone answer me this?
I have no answers as I stare into the sky
This is why I don't let people in
The word that echoes in my head is why?
I guess it's because I know I'll never win.
