BELIEVING IN DREAMS

He's that brave warrior with a sword in his hands
Fighting for freedom in far away lands
Where magic and steel and forgotten tales lie
And the ancient legends of old never die
Forests with mighty trees and valiant people
Majestic castles and kingdoms together battle evil
Dragons ride the sky and breathe molten fire
A world that seems to fulfill his every desire
By his side is the woman that stole his heart
The Queen of Magic, he knows they'll never be apart
As they travel and fight together in the morning light
And warm each other beside fires in the cold dark nights
They continue on a journey that never seems to end
They meet new and odd friends along the way
Through soaring peaks and valleys filled with decay
But in a blink of an eye, the whole dream was gone
He's sitting at work as the lights hum on
It was just a dream, that's all and nothing more
There was no world of magic and forgotten lore
But then the Queen of Magic walks by with a sly smile on her face
A spark from her fingers sets a glow in the place
Then she new him a kiss that he could really feel
Did he really travel to this world of magic and steel?
