IF HE KNEW THE TREASURE HE HAD

If he knew the treasure he had in you
He wouldn't ignore you like the way he does
He would support you for what you go through
He would be a true gentleman like in the days that once was
He would show he really cared
He would be there for you on your bad days
He would treat you gentle and fair
And would honor and protect you in many ways
If he knew the beautiful sunflower he had
He would give you the sunlight you need
He would make you smile and keep you from being sad
And be honest in every word and deed
If he knew what he had, he would treat you like a queen
Like the Sunflower Queen that you really are
He would take you to the sweetest places in dreams
And be grateful for your light, that shines brighter than a star.
