The pain and fear

Awakening feelings
I thought were dead

Healing the scars
That wouldn't heal
Breaking the bars
Making things real

Touching my face
not being disgusted
Taking me to a place
I never trusted

What could you see
In my empty shell
I'm just too ugly
I hate myself

Your touch is healing
Many years of being alone
