IF HE ONLY HAD HER HEART

He sees her from afar and secretly admires
A smile from her sets his soul on fire
She fuels him day and night as he practices with the sword
He could write legends about her without her saying a word
He would give it all just to take her by the hand
His powerful kingdom and his inherited land
He would give it all away for her without a second thought
He has multiple caves of gold but her heart can't be bought
A simple dance with her would be a dream come true
He would fight for her honor if that was the least he could do.
He would give it all for her heart
And from her arms he would never part
She would finally give him something worth fighting for
Instead of going out and fighting in these pointless wars
So elegant a woman, she moves with such grace
On a cloudy her aura lights up the darkest place
But it will never because he was promised to another
All for these stupid royal lines and the wishes of his mother
But that maiden is the one he really wants to be with
If the stars granted a wish, he would want it to be this
To have the heart of the woman that he really loved
And not be with someone only because she has royal blood
But still, he sees her and admires her from afar
As he makes his wish upon the Morning Star.
