RISE, WOMAN, RISE
The birth of nations came through you
You're stronger than armies, this is true
Without you, civilization will come to a close
You deserve respect much more than those
Who claim to have power but they really have none
With you comes the rising and setting of the sun
You are mothers, sisters, aunts, cousins and wives
Never settle for less, woman, continue to rise
Reach for the stars and continue to grow
An aura of knowledge and beauty surrounds you with a glow
All should bow to you like royalty on one knee
But sadly in this world this is not what we see
No matter what, no one will crush your spirit inside
