NOT IN THIS LIFETIME
We work different shifts, I don't see her much
But when I do, we talk and such
She's someone who I can really talk to
But she's already taken, theres nothing I can do
It figures, I finally find someone I can connect with
We're just coworkers, nothing more, that's just it
Maybe somewhere in another place beyond time
We could have been a couple walking side by side
But in this lifetime it will never ever be
Because a friendly Coworker is how she'll always see me
I wish I could have met her several years ago
There could have been something more But now I'll never know.
