GIVE ME A CHANCE

I don't have the best looks
I don't have the best physique
I'm a nerd who loves books
And I'm odd and unique
But I ask to give me a chance

I don't drive the nicest car
I don't have the biggest home
I always dream about the stars
There's not much that I own
But I just ask to give me a chance

I'm no superhero
I haven't saved a life
I may be a zero
But I can be nice
I could show you if you only give me a chance

Truth be told
I'm not special at all
I have a heart of gold
And will give it my all
If you would give me a chance

I'm no prince charming
I'm more like the frog
I may look a little alarming
Like I came from a bog
But I beg you to give me a chance
