FORGOTTEN

I have forgotten to care because no one cares for me
I have forgotten to love because no one loves me
I have forgotten to have a soul because mine is dead
I have forgotten every kind word that was ever said
I have forgotten compassion because I'm rotted to the bone
I have forgotten every act of kindness that I have ever known
I have forgotten what it's like to be in the sun
I have forgotten what it's like to be with someome
I have forgotten what it's like to feel a loving touch
I have forgotten it all, I have forgotten so much
All I can remember is the endless emotional pain
And the fact that I'll never find someone who cares again.
