THE SUNFLOWER QUEEN AND THE FALLEN KNIGHT (REDEMPTION)
Through the darkness, he screams her name
As the light thought left and the darkness came
He seemed to be floating on in endless time
He didn't know if this was real or if it was just in his mind
Shadows came and left and he heard voices
Not knowing if he made the right choices
Is he alive, is he dead? He wasn't so sure
Wherever he was, he must stand and endure
And then through the darkness, he opened his eyes
And what he saw next was a pleasant surprise
He opened his hand and there was the sunflower crest
And someone took it from him and placed it on his chest
Did this really mean what he think it did?
Did he redeem himself? He had to regain his wits
He sat up and saw the beauty of the Sunflower Queen
Her bright smile was like a wonderful dream
"Those men....what happened of them now?"
The Fallen Knight got up and gave a graceful bow
With tears in his eyes he sobbed deeply
And the Queen said: "It's okay, stop your weeping.
Because of you, Crenwell has been saved
You have true honor, and you really are brave
You have redeemed yourself, you are again a Knight
And I thank you and welcome you back to the light."
Another Knight walked up and gave him his yellow cloak
He dried his eyes because once again, he was filled with hope
He stood up, now feeling himself once again
This feeling he had, he never wants it to end
He looks at his Queen, loyal to her until death
He will fight and protect her until his very last breath
And now he has redeemed his name and is back to the only way he has known
He's where he belongs, right back at home
And now he stands, back by his brother's side
Full of fire and Crenwell pride
As he sees the beautiful Sunflower Queen take her rightful crown
She's the glory of all Queens and outshines them all around.
