BACK IN FAMILIAR TERRITORY

This has been a confusing morning to say the least
Monday has really turned out to be a beast
It seems like someone is playing with my heart
I should have known things would all fall apart
This is all my fault for being such a fool
Opening up to someone is a stupid thing to do
It only opens you up for them to play with your mind
Making those close moments just a waste of time
When am I going to learn, happiness isn't meant for me
If I wasn't such an idiot then I would be able to see
No one will ever love me, I'm meant to be alone
No one will ever care, I'll always be on my own
No one will ever see me for who I really am
No one will ever get past this ugly waste of a man
I have a heart of gold inside if someone would give me a chance
But I'm just a wallflower who was never invited to dance
I'm back to where I belong and where I need to be
I'll be stuck here on this empty road for all of eternity.

UNKOWN FUTURE

Day after day, life is like a whirlwind
Don't know when the day ends and when it begins
Everyday tied with work, never a day off
Spending those hours lost in deep thought
Wondering where life is headed on my lunch break
Feeling lost in a dream and I want to awake
Does she really care or is she messing with my mind?
Am I going to be a fool again and get hurt one more time?
I don't know what to do, I can't let down my guard
I can't let her get too deep into my heart
A swirling of emotions are going through me
So much uncertainty in what my future will be
Will it be bliss or just another broken heart?
Will my life be built up or will it all fall apart?
Do I dare be stupid enough to let someone in again?
Just for it to come to that horrible depressing end?
I don't know what to do anymore as I go back to work
I could just be headed to a future full of hurt.

THE KISS UNDER THE EXPLODING SKY

A celebration and a fireworks concert
She told me to go and what could it hurt?
Before her, I never wanted go to outside
But I will go with her by my side
The skies grew dark and the night grew loud
The sky exploded with colors all around
In the flashing lights and booms I see her face
And I knew that this night out wasn't going to be a waste
She told me she had to whisper something in my ear
And that was when she pulled me close and near
She grabbed my face so I would look into her eyes
Looking into them almost made me melt inside
In such a time with noises and chaos such as this
Before the finale, she gave me a kiss
I don't know where this is going to go
Will this be something more, I don't know
For the first time in a long time, I felt life
As she kissed me under the exploding sky.

AN EVENING OF HOPE

This night seems to be an evening of hope
She kissed me on the cheek and smelled of soap
Such a sweet smell on this humid summer evening
And to think I was going to spend it sleeping
Being around her makes me feel good about myself
It seems like it's just us and nobody else
She brings out a whole different person in me
The person that likes to smile and be happy
I really thought this person was gone and dead
But the one who bought him back was a short redhead
Could this be something that I have always dreamed
I wonder what this magical evening could possibly mean
Whatever it may mean something big or something small
I'm not going to spoil this moment and enjoy it all
For the first time in a long time I have been able to smile
I want to hold on to this night for just a little while.

DON'T FALL FOR IT

Don't fall for those so smooth lines
Don't make him mess with your mind
Stay strong, have respect for yourself
Respect your body and your overall health
You just met him, you don't know what he has
Bad decisions could end up the night turning bad
A lifetime of regrets that you wish you could take back
Don't do it, you're worth so much more than that
It's not worth it to end up with some incurable disease
So before you make the wrong choice, I'm begging you please
Don't fall for those smooth lines
Don't make him mess with your mind.

QUEST FOR THE NORTHERN CROWN (THE WATERFALL KINGDOM)

Towering above the mist, it's almost floating in the sky
A kingdom that many though was long and gone
They're all seeing which is an incredible surprise
They can only gape in awe as the continue on
Ivory towers with golden dragon banners flapping in the wind
An entire kingdom on the edge of a waterfall of unbelievable size
Is this where the Northern Crown could be concealed in?
No one on the ship could believe their eyes
This is what lies beyond the Black Sea
A beautiful kingdom that is the glory of the world
Are the Golden Dragons told in legends here, could it be?
The ancient legends handed and told to every boy and girl?
The Son of the Sea has seen it all but never this before
As they slowly make their way towards this place
The kingdom only told about in legends and lore
Still stands mighty and tall with beauty and grace
Then they all see the shadow of something that shimmers like gold
It was moving so fast, it was gone just in one blink
They all looked at one another, wondering what it could have been
Was it a dragon, they all had to think
But upon the bottom of the mist, someone waits for them.....

I WILL WAIT

I must go, but I don't want to leave
I want you forever, my beautiful forest queen
I know this is your home and I must go on
But the winds will carry your voice like a beautiful song
When all is said and done, we will be together someday
After I fulfill my duties and make him pay
I'm a Waylander and for now I must be alone
But for you my heart has found a home
I live only for you now and your delicate kiss
That brought me to life in the early morning mist
Until it's all over, we can't be together
But know this, it won't be this way forever
I will wait for you, my heat belongs to no one else
It's only for you it doesn't even beat for myself
In time my love, we will be one
In time my love, we will walk in the sun
We will walk in the sacred forests hand in hand
As the Forest Elementals stand tall and protect the land
Under falling leaves I will hold you and never let go
And kiss you until the winter comes and it starts to snow
And during those cold nights I'll keep you warm
Spending nights together with you in my arms
I will gladly wait for those wonderful days to come
When all of this madness is finally undone
I will wait until I can see you once again
The love I want to be with until the very end.
