THE MYSTERIOUS WARRIOR FROM THE EAST (ONSLAUGHT OF SWORDS)

THE MYSTERIOUS WARRIOR FROM THE EAST (ONSLAUGHT OF SWORDS)

She bends down to take a drink from the stream
Glances around as she checks her surroundings
The afternoon sunlight reflects from the water in a gleam
She hears a rustle from the bushes and weird soundings
Out come ten men, armed to the teeth
Bandits with swords and arrows, ready to fight
These are the lot of people you wouldn't want to meet
In the middle of the day or during the night
Wicked grins on their faces, the only mean to do harm
She draws her sword without saying a word
"Give up now before we cut off your arms!
Fighting against us would just be absurd!
Just give up your weapons and we will spare you your life
Why fight us which would mean certain death?
Say something now or feel the edge of my knife!
Speak, I said or you'll be breathing your last breath!“
Without a sound, her sword becomes a steel blur
Taking on one and all as they attack at once
She's faster then their strikes which don't touch her
Reducing the big talker into a body with stumps
"Let's get out of here!" one screams but it's too late
Down they all go, they should have left her alone
It was their fault that they have met a cruel fate
They didn't know that with the sword she was honed
Still not tired, she begins to wash her sword
Washing the blood off at the side of the stream
No change of emotion on her face, not saying a word
And puts away her sword once it's clean
She gets back on her horse, continuing to travel west
One clear thought reigns supreme in her mind
One vow unspoken that was never said out loud
"I failed once but I will not fail this time!"
She frowns with rage but still doesn't make a sound
She just continues on and on
Only she knows what's on her mind
It will be that way until her quest is gone
As she makes her way around the wind
