LOVE AND BE LOVED
I just want to feel loved
And for someone to love me
I want to share my life and world
With someone who'll care
Someone who touches my soul
But there's no one there
It hurts so much
Knowing there will never be
Someone in this world
Who will ever accept someone like me
Who will open my eyes and help me see
Someone who will heal my broken soul
Who will take away the pain and tears
I want to feel alive again
To feel joy in life
Without having a special bond with someone
I don't know if I can enjoy life
I just want to love and be loved
To hear a voice that will soothe my soul
And ease the empty pain I feel inside me.
