THIS IS WHO I AM
I leave words unspoken
It gets me hurt in the end
It leaves me broken
And without friends
I have a calm and gentle heart
That leaves me alone
Love and I will always stay apart
A thought that chills me to the bone
My heart will never be touched
This I know is true
Hopes and dreams dashed to dust
There’s nothing I can do
I’ll still be the same
I can’t change who I am
Even though no woman will ever whisper my name
I won’t be bitter or angry at all
I will always be a kind hearted lonely man.
