ALONE ON VALENTINE'S DAY
Love is in the air, but not for me
Endless sadness is all I see
No one to love or give roses to
I wish it was a lie but sadly it's true
There will be no kisses, not even a hug
Nothing for me as I look down at my rug
Too sad to raise my head, I can only hang it down
A prince of an empty kingdom who lost his crown
I wrap myself around a book to ease the pain
Not something physical so it's hard to explain
The day finally ends and I'm still all alone
Sadness and tears rule in this lonely throne.
