SILENT KINGDOM

SILENT KINGDOM

A beautiful place it was but it's now in ruins
The grandest buildings of all once stood here
Once the great fall happened, everything was confusing
But the Eye of Crenwell still sheds its tears
No one has ever lived here for thousands of years
But once this place was filled with laughter
It's empty and barren, haunted with fears
And everyone fled after such a disaster
The sunflower fields are barren except for the last one
In the empty royal garden it lives still
It stands tall as it faces the heat of the sun
It shines and grows because of its strong will
The last bit of life that has left this place
The only sounds are heard is the constant wind
But this silent hasn't seen a living face
Since the beginning of its untimely end
But it still sits, untouched and if ignored
As it slips through the sands of time
But in the Age of Steel, in the heat of war
Crenwell still stays out of sight, out of mind.
