EVANSKASKIA

EVANSKASKIA

Deep in the north lies a beautiful place
On the trunks of trees runes are written
Within the forest there is an ancient race
That for thousands of years has always remained hidden
The streams and rivers flow with waters so sweet
Men have died just to have a small taste
Of water were the forest spirits meet
Where the people don't let one drop go to waste
The ancient wooden homes that lie inside the trees
Trees that soar high above the clouds
Castles look small when compared to these
The envy of Kingdoms from all around
Stories known before the lands were split
Before the age of Kings and steel
Existed the forest of such magnificence
Home of the majestic forest eagles
The ways of the First Ones are still taught
As the people live off of the land
An honor that can't be sold or bought
The forest has been touched by the Goddess' hand
The mountains themselves seem like paradise itself
The air is pure as you breathe it in
The richness of the forest is their source of wealth
The lands handed down to their next of kin
The warriors are trained to defend with steel
Forged deep in the mines with the ancient bond
Sword masters of old, their spirits they still feel
Giving them strength from the forest beyond
The trees stay green, even under the blanket of snow
When drifts rise over three feet high
The trees are lit with an soft warming glow
As the people stay comfy and warm inside
The beautiful land that has never been taken
Or burned and destroyed by the hands of man
Many have tried but the ancient spirits awaken
To protect the forest, so majestic and grand
