She's the reason I smile at work

I can even take my boss being a jerk

She's a huge Giants fan and loves the Mets too

She kept me from punching my boss in the face

We talk and laugh until her boyfriend shows up
Because she only sees me as a friend
She's gone for the day and that's just my luck

I have a crush on someone that can never be

I'm the saddest person anyone can see
