METAL CHILD

METAL CHILD

An outcast, always feeling out of place
He wears a hood to cover his ugly face
A minority among his so called people
The music he listened to they all called evil
Little did they know that Metal saved his life
It relieved his pain and gave him something nice
Accepted by the ones people called crazy
The ones who thought this music was amazing
He didn't want to dance, didn't care for clubs
He'd rather bang his head until his neck was numb
He only felt alive in a wall of death
As he gave an oath to always be a Metalhead
The music spoke to him like no one else could
So what if he was the odd one in his neighborhood?
As others blasted Salsa and Hip Hop
He would blast Metal all day non stop
Alone, pushed aside by family in the end
Metal was always there, it was his best friend
"It's not music!", that's what many would say
"Listen to real music, you have lost your way!"
He ignore the judgements and turned it up louder
Crushing "real" music into nothing but powder
Everyone said that he was way too wild
But they misunderstood he was only a Metal child
