RISE OF THE SUNFLOWER WARRIOR (REDEMPTION)

RISE OF THE SUNFLOWER WARRIOR (REDEMPTION)

In the morning air, the dew still wet on the ground
All that is heard is the clash of steel on steel
They clang together as the guards begin to gather around
To see who will win in this beautiful green field
No one will interfere, they know the rules
They know who the Sunflower Warrior is and what she stands for
They know what Asha did to her and made her feel the fool
And they remember the words that she once swore
All of the pain of what happened comes back to her mind
No more tears will fall from her face after this day
This fight will seem like just a moment in time
As the both of them battle away
Years of training at Crenwell has all paid off
Asha is struggling to find off all her blows
Until she was too slow and her life ended with one last cough
And Asha fell to the ground, pained and slow.
With her last breath she mouthed she was still defiant
And denied all the pain she caused
The Sunflower Warrior stands above her, triumphant
They legally fought by the way of the laws
She stared at the guards with rage in her face
And demanded to have the gates opened at the Iron Walls
Without a word, they opened them with haste
And she walked through them, standing tall
Now she must find the one she seeks
As everyone stares at her with shock
She stared back at them but none of the speak
The see her staff and her they won't dare mock
She wasn't the same person when she left here in tears
She has grown into a full warrior now
No longer will she be a slave to her fears
As she walks past staring eyes, proud and unbowed......
