THE DARK QUEEN OF NEWBURGH

THE DARK QUEEN OF NEWBURGH

Tall and slender, walking and looking like a dream
Looking up from my phone, wondering what this means
Beautiful dark skin, she looked like a black rose
She had brown eyes that stared into your soul
Plump lips that had me daydreaming to kiss
I had to wonder what kind of sorcery was this
She had a smile that could melt the coldest heart
She could put back together a soul that's been torn apart
A strong woman, standing tall as she drank some milk
Her long fair hair that shined and seemed finer than silk
Her skin had a glow in the hot summer sun
She had the attention of almost everyone
She deserves respect, and should be treated like royalty
Any real man would give her nothing but unconditional loyalty
And in a few seconds, just like that, she came and gone
But the sweet memories of her beauty still linger on.
