LUGEON THE LONELY BEAST

LUGEON THE LONELY BEAST

Deep in the Fayan forests, he resides in a cave
Cut off from the rest of the normal world
Alone, wishing for looks is how he spends his days
His form frightens every boy and girl
All he wants is to be loved my someone
A woman that he will never be able to find
He'll always be alone and loved by no one
A fate that wears heavy on his mind
He leaves his cave and people throw stones
And laugh and make fun of his ugly face
I retreats back into the place he calls home
The only place where he feels safe
He was once like them, he enjoyed the sun
Until the day he was stuck down and cursed
Now he no longer has any kind of fun
A pitiful creature on the face of this earth
There once was a woman who caught his eye
But he knows it's something that will never be
Inside his whole soul begins to cry
He wants all to see his inner beauty
But all they ever see is what's outside
The see his hideous face and scaly skin
When he leaves the cave, they all run and hide
His only companion is the blowing wind
And he feels so sad and lonely inside
All he wants is to find someone to love
Someone who can see past his looks
In the silent night, he looks at the stars above
And sees the Great Fishhook
Will someone ever see him for who he truly is?
Or will this be his lifetime fate?
Is this sad loneliness all there really is?
Will he ever find a mate?
He walks back in his cave to get some sleep
Hoping one day things will change
Before he closes his eyes, he silently weeps
Tired of feeling all the sadness and pain.
