SOMEHOW, LOVE WILL FIND A WAY
She has her duties of being the forest queen
Her place is here, there's no way she can leave
But he can't stop thinking about her in his dreams
He saw her once and feel in love with here on the spot
As her hair with a golden flower in it flowed in the wind
He couldn't speak and his face became hot
But she didn't laugh, she saw it and gave him a grin
He knew the feeling was the same as they looked at the stars
They saw the mighty ring in the sky
Wondering what was beyond their world out far
He reached for her hand and she wasn't shy
Under the two moons they shared a kiss
One that finally made him feel alive
As the creatures of the forest sang through the mist
There's no denying what was going on inside
She spent a life alone until he walked in hers
Turned down countless offers from the richest kings
They offered her kingdoms, gold and priceless furs
But she never cared for those material things
She had a kingdom of her own in a forest of green
And people who needed her guidance and direction
Her loyal knights were armed to the teeth and mean
Ready to fight until the end for the kingdom's protection
The forest Elementals bowed when they felt her presence
This is the one place she will always call her home
She has became part of the forests' essence
That wouldn't survive if she left and went on her own
Then one day, he came from the outside world
Where there was nothing but fighting and war
Where many were enslaved, even little boys and girls
And no one really knew what they were fighting for
But he was different from the rest of them
He was sick and tired of the war and violence
He came for peace and wanted to be friends And they made a connection in total silence
He must go back to his world, she can never leave
Stuck in a quandary because she fell in love
When he goes, his face She might never again see
So she took in the moments with him and the stars above
Somehow, they will be together someday
When all of this fighting and war finally ends
If this love is real, it will somehow find a way But her love for him she carefully sends
With tears in his eyes he says his goodbye
Going back into a world so cruel and cold
Wishing he could stay with her, looking at the starry sky
Being warmed by her while embraced in a lover's hold.
