CRIES FROM BEYOND THE ICE (THE SONG OF THE FAIRIES)

CRIES FROM BEYOND THE ICE (THE SONG OF THE FAIRIES)

The claw drives into his shoulder
Giving him incredible pain
The beast weighs heavier than a boulder
Its saliva falls on him like rain
But then he hears them
He hears the song
Are they foes or friends
He's fading again, he won't last long
The song gets louder, with beautiful voices
A blinding light turns darkness to day
The fairies of ice come, loud and boisterous
The beast hisses loudly as they come his way
They have golden swords as they continue to sing
Their swords turning the beast into ashes Their beating wings make an odd ring
Like the sound when steel clashes
The beast is now defeated, the fairies come to his aid
Speaking a language that he can't understand
They lift him to his feet and show him the way
As they guide him by the hand
Her cries are louder and right there he sees
The one crying for help, trapped my magic
If she was happy, she would be a beauty on a dream
But being trapped here, her life has been tragic
She looks up and sees him, he reaches for her fingers
When the world went dark again and shadows come
A man shrouded in black appears as the bitter cold lingers
His heart is dark enough to swallow up the sun
His eyes of fire reveals nothing but hate inside
Hate for everything that lives
"Foolish mortal, here is where you'll die!"
He says with a voice that would make a child cry.......
