FATHER SKY

FATHER SKY

As I walk this lonely trail
The morning sun starts to rise in the sky
Mother earth is in pain as she starts to wail
I look around and now I see why
They poisoned her ground, ruined her lakes
Broken promises, and they want us to trust
How much more can our mother earth take
Until she breaks down and we all become dust

Father sky, hear my prayer
Give me the strength in this savage world
I am weak and I need your wisdom
Let me walk in beauty and never have fear

I walk in the camp, with Tomahawk in hand
Adrenaline is pumping through my blood
I must free my people and save the land
Bring mother earth back to the beauty it once was
They call us savages but they shoot us with guns
But now is my time to get we revenge
I must have no fear, can't turn around and run
Whatever may happen, this madness will end

Father sky, hear my prayer
Give me the strength in this savage world
I am weak and I need your wisdom
Let me walk in beauty and never have fear

One goes down, with barely a sound
Down goes another, the revenge is so sweet
But then someone wakes up, I hear a trumpet sound
Then I hear the sound of stampeding feet
No turning back, they won't take me alive
I shall fight them all in the beginning of summer heat
I either win or right here is where I die

Father sky, hear my prayer
Give me the strength in this savage world
I am weak and I need your wisdom
Let me walk in beauty and never have fear

I hear the sounds of rifles and bullets fly past my ear
With determination I bring down asany as I can
I feel a shot hit me but I must not have any fear
I won't flee or have any fear of man
Another shot hits me, I kneel down from the pain
I stand back up, determined not to fall
Another shot hits me as I hear the cry of a crane
I drop like lead, I hear my ancestors call

Father sky, hear my prayer
Give me the strength in this savage world
I am weak and I need your wisdom
Let me walk in beauty and never have fear

My last moments of life, I struggle to breathe
They come to me laughing, eyes blazing with hate
Tomahawk still in hand, my arm I try to raise
I can't lift it at all it seems too heavy
The morning turns to night as it all fades to black
Something cuts into my neck as I hear echoing laughs
Now there's nothing, just an empty void
It's so peaceful here......so peaceful.....
