RAPHEL THE HERO (THE FALL OF RADIUS MORGAN)

RAPHEL THE HERO (THE FALL OF RADIUS MORGAN)

His palms are sweaty and the tension is thick
Worried about what happens, he's making himself sick
The voice recorder is ready and the plans are set
This will be the biggest thing he has done yet
He's taking down a kingpin who has ruled for years
Shaking down the neighborhood and leaving people in fear
But he's going to take a stand and take Radius down
As he nervously paces and looks all around
The trap is set, but will Radius come?
Will he come armed with all his goons and guns?
Too late for thinking because a car rolls up
Radius walks out and with Brockett and Bub
His two biggest men who aren't afraid to kill
Raphel had second thoughts and began to feel ill
But it was too late, he can’t back out now
Everything will be alright, someway, somehow
Radius walks up, his eyes full of fire
“Hey Raphel, you better not be wearing a wire!
Do you have the money for our deal?
Don’t play around with me, this better be real!”
Raphel, sweating, with an elevated heart rate
Hands him money, trying not to make his hands shake
“What’s wrong with you Raphel, I warned you not to mess with me
You better be serious or the next day you’ll never see!”
Raphel hands Brockett the money and he counts it
Deep inside, Raphel’s so nervous it’s making him sick
And that’s when the worst thing that can happen did
Radius turned around and discovered the recorder that was hid
With death in his eyes, he takes out his gun
And all of Raphel’s instincts were telling him to run
Brockett and Bub retrieve guns of their own
And the whole undercover operation was done and blown
Gunshots ring out as bullets whizz by his face
But as crazy as it was, things did go according to plan
As cops from everywhere come out, they were outgunned and outmanned
Radius had no other choice but to put his weapon down
Brockett and Bub put their weapons down on the ground
And just like that, the cops swooped in and they were arrested
But the arrests weren’t quiet and didn’t go uncontested
“Raphel, you will pay for this when I get out of jail
You know that I will be able to make the bail
Just remember this, that we will meet again
And be ready for what will come for you my friend!”
The cops led Radius and his crooks away
The neighborhood crowded around  Raphel that day
That day, he became the local hero who saved
Even though he was nervous, he stood up and was brave
But he knew that the battle with Radius had only begun
Even though this day the neighborhood was won.
