THE SUNFLOWER QUEEN AND THE FALLEN KNIGHT (THE ESCAPE)

THE SUNFLOWER QUEEN AND THE FALLEN KNIGHT (THE ESCAPE)

They're plotting their evil plan
To usurp the queen and have Crenwell in their hands
The Fallen Knight was tied up and bound
But he must find some way out
He must save the Sunflower Queen from losing her throne
Their plan can be stopped, if there was a way to make it known
He must wait until nightfall comes
And he pretended to be asleep until the setting of the sun
The three men let him be, now was the time
To escape and leave them far behind
He worked his way to get one arm free
But he had to be quiet and not rouse them from sleep
Slowly, but slowly, he freed himself from the rope
And now, finally, there was a glimmer of hope.
Now, he had to find his trusty sword
And get back to Crenwell to send them the word
He silently went across the sleeping men to get his blade
He grabbed it, snuck past them, he almost had it made
When he stepped on a twig and it made a loud snap
One of them woke up, ready to attack
The Knight drew his sword, the sound of steel filled the air
The battle for his life would begin right there
The all came for him, it was three on one
If he was overpowered, his plan would be done
He thought of the Sunflower queen and fought for his life
He thought of the oath and made his way to the light.
Cut up and bloody, he ran out of the place
And the three men were right behind him, hot on the chase
He grabbed one of their horses and rode like the wind
He had to get to the gates so their evil plan could end
He rides off into the wilds, so pitch dark
As he tries to calm his racing heart
Into the chill of night, he continues to bleed
But he must stay alive long enough for them not to succeed.
