THE STUBBORN FOOL
He tries again and again
And comes to the same end
Alone and in a world of hurt
Feeling lost and lower than dirt
He should just give up and accept
He'll be alone until his last breath
He has a desire to be with someone
But ends up empty with no one
He gets up after getting beaten down
Just to get beaten back in the ground
He's too stubborn to call it quits
He's such a fool, the outcome is the same
He wishes this foolish desire would wane
But it doesn't even though he'll never find
Love in this world, he's been left behind
But yet he tries to no avail
He tries again and again and does nothing but fail
He'll keep trying because he's nothing but a fool
A fool who wants love but will never be that cool.
